The next day (day 2) 2 out of 3 seedlings had popped through the surface, showing their seedling (cotyledon) leaves.

Damn these Royal Haze Automatics are quick growers! Hopefully the rest of the grow will be this fast.

For now I’m still feeding them just plain water and the ocassional water of root juice at 5ml per litre, just to encourage the root growth. I’ve always been a big believer of first looking after the plants roots – with a good root system a plant can growth big and strong. No matter how much you spend on nutrients and bud boosters it will not be able to take in the nutrients and get the benefit without a good root system. More roots = more shoots = more buds.
